My name is Michael Lane and I have been operating as Chem-Dry Yukon since 2004. I rst moved north in 1975 and began work as a designer for a Northern Newspaper. Over the years I have started and operated two very successful Graphic Design companies. One of which is still operating in Whitehorse. I love the north and my wife and I raised 3 children here, who are all in University now, and hoping to make their homes in the Yukon upon graduation. Over the years I have held many volunteer positions.

A soccer coach for 5 years, a cub and scout leader for six and a softball coach for as long as I can remember. I am also a world renowned snow sculptor and represent Canada and the Yukon around the world. Every winter for the last 10 years, our team travels to as many as 7 world championships during the month of January and part of February and for the most part we are standing on the podium upon completion. When our travels are over and we have returned home we organize and host the Yukon Snow Sculpting Challenge which coincides with the Sourdough Rendezvous. I look at volunteering as but a small part of giving back to the Yukon for what it has given us.

Since I started operating Chem-Dry Yukon, I treat each and every customer as if they are the most important clients I have. Of course you all are the most important for without you I wouldn’t have anything. Every customer has their own concerns about their home and we treat it as we would our own.
